Security Newsletter
September 1, 2020
Hello Security Community Members,

As we welcome in September, it is a great time to slow down, take stock in everything that has happened over the past six months and continue to move into our ‘next normal.’ And while that likely means increasing what can and must be done virtually for your company and personal life, the security community must continue to be front and center. Whether you are working to secure your company or your customers, the threats have significantly risen and can be a strain on an already strained team.

I am working with the community co-chairs on developing content and programs that are important for you, easily delivered to you, and cut above all of the noise coming from so many directions. Our first event of the fall is happening on October 1st featuring Steven Booth, CISO at FireEye about the importance of Blue Teams and how you can optimize your security teams.

And another welcome to our newest Security Community sponsors Nuance and Sonatype! We are excited to have them on board and are appreciative of their support.

I’d like to extend a big congratulations to ReversingLabs, which was named a winner in Black Unicorn Awards for 2020! If you have news, thought leadership, or any ideas you’d like to share with the community let me know or feel free to post in the member-only MassTLC Central Security page!

And finally, I’d like to welcome our newest co-chair, Kathy Teehan, Senior Program Manager at Chewy. We are so excited to have Kathy joining us and sharing her insights.

Best regards,
Sara Fraim
