MassTLC Tech Community
Quarterly Newsletter l Q4 2019
Hello Tech Community Members!

I can’t believe the year is coming to an end. It’s been such a great experience working with this community over the past 12 months and I’m looking forward to another great year ahead. We’ve had some really good programs that have spanned across a number of disciplines, including architecture, DevOps, machine learning, open source, and the end to end data journey.

As 2020 approaches, I am working with the community co-chairs to pair down the noise and bring you the most useful information through events, webinars and videos, and articles. To best meet your objectives, we’ve put together a short survey to help us identify the best topics and delivery methods. I promise, it should not take more than 3 minutes of your time.

We held a great event at Kyruus last month where we heard use cases from iRobot and Kyruus detailing their foray into serverless architecture.  Video presentation available here.

I am happy to recognize the tech category winners of the MassTLC Leadership Awards that took place in November. Our inaugural Tech Excellence Award was given to Kathleen Mitford of PTC ; Innovative Tech of the Year in Robotics to Markforged ; Innovative Tech of the Year in Sales and Marketing to Owl Labs ; and Innovative Tech of the Year in Security to Silverside Detectors.

And as always, if you have ideas for programs, thought leadership pieces to contribute, or just want to connect, please reach out!

I hope to see you all soon.

Best regards,

Sara Fraim
