The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce invites business owners to attend this small business development virtual experience. This FREE “Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML)” webinar will be held on Thursday, January 21 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Please join Wendy Hansen, Atty., Foley & Foley, PC for an overview of the Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave law that started on January 1, 2021.

Wendy will review the:
·        types of leave
·        employee eligibility
·        definitions of a serious health condition and family member
·        application process
·        role of the Department of Family and Medical Leave (DFML)
·        employer, job protections, wage calculations, and exempt plan requirements
