Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association and Boston Children’s Hospital Announce Collaboration to Provide World Class Education for Child Safety and Injury Prevention
April 28, 2022- Lancaster, MA: Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association announced today that they have signed an agreement under which Boston Children’s Hospital will become the Official Hospital and Child Safety Sponsor of Mass Youth Soccer. Boston Children’s will bring its experience and expertise to offer educational events to more than 165,000 registered Mass Youth Soccer members throughout the state.

“We enjoy a long standing, cherished relationship with Mass Youth Soccer,” said Bill Meehan, MD, Director of The Micheli Center for Sports Injury Prevention at Boston Children’s. “This collaboration allows Boston Children’s to educate athletes on our specialties like sports injury prevention, mental skills and working with registered dietitians and certified strength and conditioning specialists. We look forward to working together to keep their athletes informed, healthy, and in top condition.”
