New: Launchpad Reading Academy

This guided reading system is designed to offer a multi-sensory learning experience through a combination of interactive apps, storybooks and videos all on one pre-loaded device. No internet or wi-fi connection needed.

The Reading Academy features five increasingly challenging levels: pre-emerging, emerging, early developing, developing and independent. Read the summary section of the catalog record for information to help you determine a suitable starting level for your child. With fifteen tablets available for checkout, three for each level, children can move through the levels at their own pace and develop comfort and confidence in their reading skills before they advance to more difficult material.

Visit the library catalog to place holds for porch side pickup. Don’t forget to pick up an Early Reader Book Bundle for additional reading practice!
