Did You Know? Some of Our Instructors are Authors, Too!
Mara Linaberger
Eduspire instructor, Mara Linaberger has just published her second book! Committed to helping shape education from both the inside and outside, Mara's first book HELP! My Child Hates School , was a guide for parents, helping them to uncover their child's passions and interests, then locating a school to support the child's specific needs.

Mara's second book, The Micro-School Builder's Handbook , picks up where the first book left off. She realized that sometimes the options available don't fit the needs of a child — and that a more personalized learning option is called for. Designed to help parents, concerned citizens, or exhausted teachers to consider building small, personalized learning environments, the book walks the reader through all aspects of building a small school. Culminating in a business plan, complete with action steps, the Micro-School Builder's Handbook is a one of a kind guide to quickly formulating a plan to launch a micro-school in less than a year.

Even though she is passionate about alternative education, Mara continues to work for change in the big system of education by supporting teachers through her Digital Portfolios and Mindful Classroom courses with Wilson/Eduspire.
Dayna Laur, instructor of the new course Authentic Connections for Project-Based Learning and Co-Founder of Project Arc , also authored Authentic Learning Experiences: A Real-World Approach to Project Based Learning and Developing Natural Curiosity through PBL: Five Strategies for the PreK-3 Classroom . Dayna is a highly credentialed educator who is passionate about personalizing learning.
