Greetings!
Imagine you're watching a movie of yourself going about your day. What do your mornings look like? What would you LIKE them to look like? Stressful mornings deeply affect your health so ask yourself these two questions:
1. What are your friction points that add stress to your morning? (For example, watching the news right away, not having meals ready, no gas in the car, dishes in the sink?)
2. What is a simple, 2-minute habit that could change this stress? (Making your lunch the night before, clothes laid out ahead, gathering things for the next day?)
I would love to hear what your friction points are and how you've reduced them.
I share this because I love to learn and have watched countless videos on mastering a powerful morning routine, yet it's still a work in progress. No matter how your night went, any little thing you did during your evening routine will give you a better morning. Your morning routine actually starts the night before!
What will your 'tomorrow self' be happy that your 'today self' did?
I see the difference in my stress level and the rest of my day with how my morning goes. I absolutely love not having to think about what to do during the first hour of my day. If I set things out the night before and have planned my exercise, I'm so much happier and calmer.
Many of you have asked for help with habits, so please see below for key points from my favorite mentors.
Happy Father's Day to you and those you love!
