Principal's Message

Dear Miramonte Community,

Thank you for attending Parent Night last night! Below are the various slide decks that were presented for you to review as needed.

Next Wednesday is our bi-annual Club Day! Over 100 student-led clubs will set up booths in the gym to showcase the great offerings and opportunities they provide students. We will have a special bell schedule on Wednesday to provide an extended lunch so that students have plenty of time to learn about the available clubs and sign up for the ones they are interested in joining.

Have a great Friday and GO MATS!

Schedule Changes

The deadline to drop a class without it appearing on your transcript is Friday, October 11.

Seniors

  • Counselors are beginning to meet individually with seniors to discuss post-high school plans!
  • If your senior is applying to college, they can begin requesting transcripts via MaiaLearning.
  • Please have your student contact their counselor immediately if they are applying EA or ED to a school.
  • Consider attending the Academy college application workshops in the College and Career Center. Students can sign up using TeachMore.

Students who received a D, F, NC, or NP in a graduation required course should contact their counselor to see if they are eligible for remediation through a FuelEd course. Remediation is important if your student wants to maintain UC/CSU eligibility.

Cal Grant gives funds to every eligible senior who meets the requirements. AUHSD will electronically submit information for every senior in the district to the California Student Aid Commission so they may be considered for a Cal Grant. If you do not wish to have your student’s information submitted electronically, please complete the opt-out form with our school registrar, Kyley Jacobs, by Friday, September 27.
