Dear ,
Here are the words of a person experiencing homelessness about the efforts of the
Charles Bruce Foundation, "I am homeless in Bangor Maine. I was blessed with...blankets, Thank you all! I absolutely love my blankets...Please know that just when I thought no one cares about the homeless, I received these blankets, so thank you all!" Pictured to the right, you can also see another blanket donation to members of one volunteer's "street family."
You probably know that the
Charles Bruce Foundation was established to promote the arts by provide funding for artists, writers, and musicians. What you should also know is that through the efforts of the
Homeless Remembrance Blanket Project, persons experiencing homelessness were provided hand-made blankets via a 15,000 sq. ft. art installation in 2022 (see photo below). Watch for what's ahead in 2023!
Your contributions support this and other projects, and with the help of Partnership for Better Health, M&T Bank, The Josiah W. and Bessie H. Kline Foundation and The McCormick Family Foundation, we have the opportunity to increase all gifts made to Charles Bruce Foundation during the month of March. If you make a contribution to the Charles Bruce Foundation by clicking the button or scanning the QR code below with your phone, you can designate your giving to the Charles Bruce Foundation and help us reach our goal of $5,000 for this year.
