April 30, 2020

Dear Parents,

We hope this has been a good week for you all.  We remain grateful for your partnership during this time, especially as it settles in for us all that we will not be returning to our school  buildings this year.  In the interest of re-distributing student materials, we have worked together with our staff and state guidelines to come up with a plan for how you will be able to pick up materials during the week of May 4-8. There will not be another opportunity for families to come to the buildings before the end of the 2019-2020 school year.   We are timing this distribution to avoid conflict with construction and facility maintenance scheduled to begin the following week.

Consequently, we have a coordinated system for one adult representative from  each family to come to their school building at the assigned dates/times below to pick up materials that have been collected for your child. Based on the Governor's order, this adult representative will need to be wearing a face mask at the time of pick-up.  Pay attention to parking spaces that have been coned off, maintaining a safe distance between vehicles.

Boxes may include materials that have been left in lockers and desks.  It will not be possible to collect all materials, as many are scattered throughout the building and not clearly labeled for each student.  Lost and Found items will be stored for retrieval when we return to school.  I f you need to retrieve medication, please contact your school nurse by Thursday, May 7 to coordinate a pick-up time.  Any uncollected materials or medications will be safely stored until we are able to return to school.

In order to ensure that we are maintaining safe social distancing measures, please be sure to follow the below instructions for pick-up. If you are unable to pick-up materials during your designated time below, your student's labeled box will be safely stored until we are able to return to school.  We will not be setting up alternative pick-up times outside of what is designated below.

Directions for contactless material pick-up:
  1. Please have one adult representative from each family get out of the car.  Weather permitting, items will be placed in labeled boxes just outside of the front entrance.  If it is raining, boxes will be located in the front lobby of each school (Greeley families will enter the North doors off of the parking lot into the Multi-purpose room)
  2. Please pick up only the materials for your own child (boxes were packed by volunteers wearing gloves and masks). Boxes will be organized alphabetically by last name and are marked accordingly.
  3. Please come only during the designated time for your family based on the first letter of your last name (times listed below). This will help keep the number of people arriving during each time to a minimum.
  4. Please grab and go, it is important that no one congregates.
  5. Please keep a distance of six feet apart from others, and wait to approach the materials in order to maintain this distance from others already at the table.
  6. All School Playgrounds remain closed.
