2025 Competition Highlights

We're excited to highlight a recent competition element and two new competition sites for 2025!

  • Team Affiliate: New last year, this registration option provides an opportunity for a student who has practiced with a team and was not selected as a team member to participate on competition day and compete for awards. Team Affiliates, who otherwise would not participate on competition day, compete in Fact Drill and Individual rounds.
  • New Sites: Math Masters continues to expand! New in 2025 are competition sites in Woodbury (4th & 5th grades) and Castle Rock, CO (4th & 5th grades).

Did You Know? 4th Graders Can Compete!

Did you know Math Masters hosts 4th grade competitions? In 2024, nearly 1,200 4th graders participated in 14 competitions just for them! Fourth grade competitions are age appropriate and identical to 5th and 6th grade competitions except 4th graders have only two Individual competition rounds, one less than 5th and 6th grade competitions, and rounds include fewer questions than those of their older peers.

Think about your 4th graders and sign up a 4th grade team (or two!) when registering your 5th and 6th graders!
