We're excited to introduce new competition elements and updates in 2024!

• Team Affiliate: This new registration option provides an opportunity for a student who has practiced with a team and was not selected as a team member to participate on competition day and compete for awards. Team Affiliates, who otherwise would not participate on competition day, compete in Fact Drill and Individual rounds.
• Individual-Only Competition: Join other individual competitors in 4th, 5th and 6th grades for our first competition of only individuals (no teams). Participants compete against others in their grade in Fact Drill and Individual rounds. Hosted in Mankato on March 21.
• 4th Grade Fact Drill: You asked, we responded! Our 4th grade competitions will include a Fact Drill round for the first time in 2024, adding to the existing Individual rounds and Team rounds.
• New Sites: Math Masters has expanded in 2024 and will host sites in Mountain Iron (4th, 5th, 6th grades); Thief River Falls (4th, 5th, 6th grades); Arden Hills (5th grade); and Burnsville (4th grade).

Did you know Math Masters hosts 4th grade competitions? In 2024, 4th graders can participate in 18 competitions just for them! Fourth grade competitions are identical to 5th and 6th grade competitions except 4th graders have only two Individual competition rounds, one less than 5th and 6th grade competitions. New in 2024, 4th grade competitions will include a Fact Drill round.
