Matt B is an award-winning singer/songwriter that hails from the Southside of Chicago, Illinois. Kenzo has won numerous national and international awards, including a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award in 2018, a BET Award in 2015, and multiple All Africa Music Awards. Kenzo most recently was honored with an AFRIMA Award for ‘Best Male Artist in Eastern Africa’ in 2021, which marks his 5th AFRIMA award.
