RSVP for Training Day
The Student Organizations Office, in collaboration with Campus Recreation and Fraternity & Sorority Life, is excited to once again host Student Organization Training Day for organization officers! The main topic will focus on organization leadership through the lens of diversity, equity & inclusion though additional topics specific to each group will be provided. Light breakfast and lunch is provided.

Friday, August 19
9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Nedderman Hall.


If you are living on campus and need to move in early in order to attend this training, you must submit your RSVP at the link above by August 4. Our office will pay the small fee associated with early move in as long as you RSVP by the deadline and attend training in full.

Activity Fair Day
The Activity Fair Day is a chance for student organizations, departments and community agencies to showcase their services, interests, and involvement opportunities to the campus community. This event draws a crowd of thousands and is a prime opportunity to recruit for your organization!

Wednesday, August 31
10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
University Center Mall & Library Mall

Organizations in good standing may sign up to host a table to promote the organization and its activities to the campus community. The signup link will be available here by August 1.
Join Student Government
Student Government is looking for members to join us for the upcoming academic year as representatives of the student community! Join us for a wonderful opportunity for students to get involved on campus and help make a difference in our community!

Fall 2022 Events
Don't forget, organizations in good standing can now register events for fall 2022! All event requests must be made from your MavOrgs page. For information about that process click here.

Classroom space cannot be requested through MavOrgs until after the semester has begun. Classroom requests may be made beginning on September 2 for events starting no earlier than September 8.
Status Check

  • Spring 2022 Profit/Loss report was due on May 3. That report must be submitted, reviewed by your advisor and approved by our office in order for the hold to be removed. View information about submitting this report here.
  • Re-Registration opens on August 1 and must be approved by September 2. All organizations must submit re-registration every fall and spring semester.
  • Risk Management Training opens August 1 and must be completed by advisor(s) and president regardless of when they completed it for the 21-22 academic year. The module is currently closed for updates and will open on August 1. Read about risk management training and access the self-enroll link here.
  • Groups with an Advising hold must notify our office of your new faculty/staff advisor. If you need assistance finding one, please email us.
  • Debt holds are resolved once your past-due debt has been paid at Student Accounts and you email a copy of the corporate payment receipt to us. Your advisor receives the invoices and debt notices so please follow up with them.
