Last year's inaugural
Roasts for the Holidays
was an immediate success
raising $30K
that went directly toward providing a "Max-quality" holiday dinner to the underserved in the regions where Max Restaurants are located.
Richard Rosenthal,
President of the Max Cares Foundation, states, "Max Restaurant patrons went above and beyond last year when we asked them to help us raise funds to provide an unforgettable holiday dinner for those who most need it. For the Max Cares Foundation to be able to add to their generosity made it possible for us to give a top-notch meal to hundreds of families in the communities where we live and work."
The six area shelters and kitchens that will receive
Roasts for the Holidays
meals are
Loaves & Fishes, House of Bread and Open Hearth in Hartford, CT; Open Pantry Community Services and Springfield Rescue Mission in Springfield, MA; and Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry in Chicopee, MA.
