Motivate to Create

That happened because someone showed up with paint and paper.

He never thought he could do something like that.

Brandon came to our SNAP painting class not knowing how to paint. He left with a finished book, complete with illustrations of otters and a written story to go with them. When he handed it to us, he said he never thought he could do something like that. Our director still carries that book to every presentation. It still brings her to tears.

WE'RE IN A TIGHT SPOT

Right now, we're in a tight spot. Federal funding has been paused, and our entire operation runs on one staff member. To keep our programs going, we're turning to the community we've spent 50 years serving. It is not easy to ask, but to maintain our important programs.

We need your support.

Your donation will help sustain the programs that improve the quality of life in North Tarrant and the surrounding communities.

$15 will help to pay for office supplies and flyers to get the word out. $30 will replenish art supplies or pay for an hour of a skilled teacher’s time. $150 will provide a full art kit for 12 classes.

This work is a privilege. Our artists make that clear every week.

If you've ever watched someone light up while performing, creating, or experiencing art for the first time, you already know why this matters.

You Can Help

Your contribution directly supports opportunities for artists to share their work and for the public to experience the power of art and puts it in front of people who might never seek it out on their own.

Whether it be singing, dancing, writing, drawing, journaling, cooking, sewing, and so much more, your gift helps us to "Motivate to Create".

Art Is A Therapeutic Tool That We All Possess

It can be a powerful outlet for expressing emotions that are difficult to put into words, helping to reduce stress and anxiety.* You don’t have to be any good at art to benefit from it either. ArtsNet helps people to discover and use a real outlet, one that most people don’t know they have.

The Arts Council of Northeast Tarrant County has served our communities for 50 years and counting with our spotlight programs Art on Wheels, Community Arts, and Masterworks Concerts. We are proud to work with our artists to strengthen our community by making art accessible, visible, and meaningful for everyone. Our goal has always been to showcase local artists, bring creative experiences to public spaces, and engage our friends, family, and community.

WE CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU

Thanks to the generosity of community members, local cities and artists for bringing North Texans together for over 50 years!

Your help through monetary donations, donations of time and support of our programs bring creativity, education and connection to our diverse population.
