Letter from the President
Hey TTT!
The race season has been going strong for the team this year! Congrats to all of our racers who competed in races over the past month! The board has been doing a great job keeping tabs on our members’ races, and it’s great to see how active we are each weekend! Good luck to everyone headed off to Eagleman this weekend too!
We’re getting into the heat of summer now. Be sure to properly hydrate and fuel properly when you’re getting in your workouts over the next couple of months, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
On a different note, I’ve decided that it’s time to pass the TTT leadership torch. It’s been a fantastic experience helping to lead this group and to see us continue to grow as we were when I came onto the board. I couldn’t have done all this alone. The board members that have been volunteering alongside me over the last 3+ years have been fantastic with all of their help. And we couldn’t have kept it all going without the support and participation of all of our members, who help create the type of encouraging, friendly, and supportive environment that we’ve all come to know. Thank you to all of you.
I’m going to be passing my duties as TTT President over to Melissa Roberts. She has already taken on this role over the last couple of weeks, and has been on the board for almost as long as I’ve been president now, so she’s very familiar with everything we’re doing and it should be a pretty smooth transition.
If anyone has some extra time and is interested in volunteering to help out with the TTT on the board or as a volunteer at events, I would encourage you to talk to any of our board members and see if there is something you can do to help out! I’ve found the experience volunteering with the TTT to be remarkably rewarding and it’s had a significant impact on my life in fantastic ways.
TTT Rocks!

Beth Sanders
Meet Beth!
Beth has been active in triathlons for 3 years now. Along with triathlon, she is a fantastic runner in our running community. Beth says her favorite race so far has been Chattanooga 70.3 in 2018. Her favorite mantra is, " There will be a day that I can no longer do this… and today is not that day". You can find Beth smiling while riding and running with friends around the community.
If you see her, be sure to congratulate her on being our AOM!
