What's Happening in the Garden?

The patio garden at KCPL's Chestertown Branch is being lovingly rejuvenated by the Queen Anne's and Kent County Master Gardeners!

The patio garden has been weeded, native plants have been added, mulching is now underway. We are grateful for this partnership and for each and every hour that the Master Gardeners are volunteering toward this project.

The University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener Program is designed to train volunteer horticultural educators to support the University of Maryland Extension mission by educating residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. Learn more about this program by visiting the University of Maryland Extension!
