Choptank Community Health is expanding access to healthcare for behavioral health patients in Kent County through a new partnership with Kent County Public Library!

What's Happening in the Garden?

The patio garden at KCPL's Chestertown Branch is being lovingly rejuvenated by the Queen Anne's and Kent County Master Gardeners!

The patio garden has been weeded, native plants have been added, mulching is now underway. We are grateful for this partnership and for each and every hour that the Master Gardeners are volunteering toward this project.

The University of Maryland Extension Master Gardener Program is designed to train volunteer horticultural educators to support the University of Maryland Extension mission by educating residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes, and communities. More donation dates for the spring and summer have been added! Beginning mid-May, the Friends will once again welcome donations of books and other materials for their next used book sale.

Please note that due to KCPL's Chestertown Branch serving as an election polling location, the Friends will not be accepting donations on Tuesday, May 7 or Tuesday, May 14.
