This month we realized we have consistently had 30% more families visiting our food pantry each month over last year.

With the rising cost of food, gas, and all household expenses it is no surprise families are really struggling to keep up. Thanks to loving neighbors like YOU, we are able to provide food, essential items, and most importantly a friendly place to turn in a time of need!

In the month of May, we have been happy to see that our customers are working more. Fewer people are coming to the pantry each week during our normal distribution times. However, with the high cost of living and rising prices of food, gas, and housing in the area, families still need our support. Our staff and volunteers have been delivering groceries to more families so they can focus on working as much as they can.

We are so grateful to the Southampton Little League for hosting a food drive for us at their 2022 Opening Day Celebration.

Later this week the Southampton Intermediate School will host their annual Run Against Hunger to help us continue to provide food for those in need. To join these great young supporters, you can give online to

The food we provide is dependent on community support. If you would like to host a food drive or donation drive for us, please reach out by clicking here!

To help us continue to provide vital nutrition to local families...
This month we provided school concert attire and prom dresses and suits to students in Southampton and Hampton Bays Schools. We are so happy to help local children feel confident during their big life moments. Thank you to everyone that donated and especially Ari's Closet for their help in collecting!

Our Assistance Program serves local children, adults, and families with a wide range of support. Here are a few expenses we covered that demonstrate the impact this program makes on people's lives:

  • Arranged for medical rides for prenatal care for expectant young mother

  • Paid outstanding medical bills for a low-income senior with cancer

  • Replaced a broken stove for a local family

  • Paid a cell phone bill for a homeless man

We love Fergus Sloan and everyone involved with FMS Paddle Sports!

They have hosted several paddle events (including this one a few weeks ago) all to raise funds for Heart of the Hamptons, awareness about food insecurity on the east end, and help keep our beaches clean!

1. What is the best way to help?
Monetary donations directly help us to feed our neighbors in need. Donate here!
2. Are you accepting food or clothing donations?
We are always in need of food donations. Please make sure the food items are not expired. Currently, we are only accepting spring and summer clothing. The drop-off times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM-2PM. Please call our office to schedule (631-283-6415).
3. Do you need volunteers?
Yes! Please sign up on our website here
4. How does one register for the food pantry?
One can register ahead of time by calling our office (631-283-6415) to speak with our bilingual staff. New customers are welcome to visit during food pantry hours- Wednesdays and Fridays from 10AM-12PM. Upon arrival, they will be asked to fill out a registration form and provide valid identification. This form is used solely for reporting numbers to the food bank so we receive enough food to feed our customers.
Only together can we do so much!

Warmest regards,
