Spring Work Party
~THANK YOU!~
The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and the breeze was light. It was a perfect morning for the spring work party. The amount of work completed did not disappoint either. With a good turnout and many eager workers the club was transformed into it's beautiful summer self. Mulch was spread, firewood was relocated, landscaping was weeded, the porch was prepared, the clubhouse was cleaned, and the docks were installed. Big thanks to all that came out and helped.

If you were unable to make it and would like to contribute please contact Dave Porter or Ron Gallagher and they'll point you in the right direction.
Clubhouse Security - KNOW THE CODE

Within the next few weeks, locksets on all entrance doors to the clubhouse, with the exception of the electronic lock at the porch side entrance, will be replaced. Keys will not be passed out so you must know the code to the porch side entrance door to access the clubhouse. If you don't know the code, contact Ron Gallagher and he will give you the code. Do not share it with non-members! For security purposes the code will likely be changed periodically.
Remember, if you are the last person leaving the club grounds, it's your responsibility to ensure all doors are locked.
Board of Directors Updates
We are happy to announce that Michelle Bish has graciously agreed to continue in the role of club Caretaker in addition to her Sunshine Committee responsibility. However, the job of a Caretaker is certainly not a one-man/woman-show, so it's a good thing that our club is not one-man-show either. Ron Gallagher has been named Assistant Caretaker and will work closely with Michelle. Members are encouraged to contact Michelle and Ron when they have time and energy to spare to help out with small projects and tasks required to maintain our property and keep it in top shape. Dave Porter will work with Ron and Michelle as Building and Grounds Chairman and will lead the never-ending list of projects.

Should you have any questions or concerns about the roles and responsibilities of our board, please reach out to our President, Bill Gray.
Causeway Challenge 2022!
Welcome to the 8th season of our Causeway Challenge! With our membership growing, let's make this our best year yet :) The objective is simple: get off the porch and go sailing! The only rule is that you sail from PCC all the way to the causeway, around the pin, and back. You must round the pin and you must sail both ways in order to log your trip.

Fill out the Log (on bulletin board) upon completing a trip. At the end of the season we recognize the boat and crew with most completed trips with a very prestigious plaque displayed in our beverage room, and give you bragging rights! Good luck competing with those retired guys who've got more time than they know what to do with!

On the mend
Please keep Jerre Patterson in your thoughts and prayers. Jerre was loading his truck for a trip to the club about a week ago and fell off. He has a concussion, collapsed lung and some broken ribs. Jerre underwent a lung repair surgery this past Thursday, is in stable condition and is hoping to go home sometime next week.

Your prayers and good wishes are also requested for Basil Pinzone, who is battling complications from stage 4 cancer.
It's Party Time!!!
Our VP/Social Committee Chairperson, Pam Ambrass, has been hard at work planning our 2022 social activities. Our summer calendar is full with several great events planned! Please visit our Website for more information on dates and themes. We are sure to have an amazing summer of camaraderie like only sailors know!

A big thank you to all who donated to the GoFundMe campaign in memory of Brian Bish to benefit Michelle and family in helping with expenses. The campaign will be active for a short while longer so if you haven't donated please consider making a donation.
