Beloved of God,
This Sunday is what is known as Good Shepherd Sunday. Every year on the 4th Sunday of Easter we read Psalm 23 and part of John chapter 10. So, instead of reading something from me, do yourselves a favor, and read that Psalm. I'll even give you a few links to check out so you can bathe yourselves in the comfort and assurance of the words.
Peace to you, Pastor Sarah

St. Paul Lutheran's Sunday School is hosting their annual plant sale to benefit the Sunday School program.
In today's COVID-19 times, the sale looks different than in the past. Again this year we are pairing with Woskia Farms to supply the plants. 40% of all sales go to the Sunday School program; these funds help pay for the curriculum and supplies for the program.
Last year we were also able to purchase bibles for our classrooms and make a donation of bibles to another congregation. In addition to program materials, we are hoping to update the Sunday School rooms, purchase additional bibles and make a donation to a cause chosen by the Sunday School children.
Due to the current social distancing guidelines, we are limited in our ability to hold the sale as we typically do. We are currently offering pre-orders of hanging baskets.
Orders are due by May 8th
for a May 10th pick up and May 15th for a May 17th pick up. Click on the link below for more information and the order form.

NURSE'S CORNER
We are blessed to have knowledgeable and caring nurses in our congregation! They have some words of advice for us:
As we continue to social distance, keep in mind that as we are successful in quarantine it also means it extends the time of the pandemic. The state of MN has a model developed by the University of MN with time lines for the pandemic. If interested, please visit the MN gov page. We know what a difficult time this can be, there are many resources for mental health if anyone is looking for these please contact us.
~ Joanna, Jan, and Jaime
Remember to pray for these nurses and all those on the front lines fighting the corona virus.

Spring Cleanup
Dates: May 5, 6, 12 and 13.
6:00-8:00 pm
Due to COVID-19, we need to continue with social distancing. This will extend into ways we do activities at our church. The first activity change you will notice is our Spring Clean-up. This year we will have multiple evenings of Spring Clean-up
Each evening we are inviting only two families to participate. Please sign-up for a date so we do not have too many families in an evening. There will be a member of the Building and Grounds committee there to guide you in what needs to be done.
Plan on bringing work gloves. If other items are needed (rakes, shovels, wheelbarrow, etc.) you will receive an email before your date letting you know what is needed.
If you are interested in volunteering for this project, please sign up
here. If you have any questions, please email Melissa (office administrator) at
[email protected].
