Growing in faith, serving with love
Order for Worship - 5th Sunday of Easter
May 10, 2020
It is a great day to worship the Lord! Take some time to leave behind all that worries you and enter into a place of worship. Lyrics for the hymn are provided in the description on the YouTube page.
God’s love for us is as powerful as it is unending. With confidence in the forgiveness that follows, let us confess to God where we have fallen short.
Pray aloud in unison with others who are gathered, both in body and spirit.
Lord, we come with humility, confessing who and what we are. We are often unresponsive because we are afraid. When your Spirit speaks, we turn deaf ears because we fear what you might call us to do. When your Spirit touches our lips, we close our mouths, embarrassed to speak your Word. Forgive us, Lord, when we do not follow you.
Family, receive this Good News. Easter is real, and so is God’s love and grace. Be at peace what God and one another, for in Christ, we are all forgiven.
If you would like to share a joy or prayer concern, please email Pastor Dan at and your request will be shared in next week’s worship packet. Prayer requests will remain for 3 weeks unless updated.

God loves you, and there’s nothing that will ever change that fact! Live in response to this love. May it fill us abundantly so that we can share it with the world.
As we embrace the miracle of Easter every day of our lives, may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit guide and sustain us until the day Christ comes again. Amen!
