St Paul Lutheran Church, Ridgefield, is located on the original and ancestral homelands of the Mohican, Munsee, Lenape, and Schaghticoke peoples, and we give thanks for their presence here since time immemorial. We also wish to recognize and honor all our Indigenous siblings who have and continue to call this land their home.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.  This is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him because he abides with you, and he will be in you. John 14: 15 - 17

PRAYER OF THE DAY

Almighty and ever-living God, you hold together all things in heaven and on earth. In your great mercy receive the prayers of all your children, and give to all the world the Spirit of your truth and peace, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Amen.

...from the Pastor...

Actually, one can! More and more of us are utilizing apps to donate to the church and to other organizations we deem worthy of our time, talent, and treasure.

We give to the church to ensure the ministry continues: people are baptized, people are welcomed into the community, the Word is proclaimed and the sacraments celebrated; people find hope and solace and safety in a place where their personhood is respected and valued.

We give to the church to show the importance we place on what the church is - a place where truth is proclaimed and love is taught; and what the church does - love intentionally and radically each other and the community we are in, doing the works of service justice and advocacy until God's kingdom comes.
