Update on Father Bill Fichteman
Father Bill has moved from Kindred to rehab at Nazareth Home on Newburg Road, Room 280. There has been marked improvement in the last couple of weeks. Although there are no restrictions on the number of visitors he may have at Nazareth, be aware that Father may be in rehab sessions off and on throughout the day. Thanks for your prayers and keep them coming!

60 Minutes for Jesus

Fr. Jim Sichko is a full time preacher, evangelist and motivational speaker based in the Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky.

In February of 2016, Pope Francis commissioned Fr. Jim as one of his Papal Missionaries of Mercy of which there are only 1000 in the world, 100 in the United States.

Fr. Jim uses real lives experiences and ties those experiences into the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
Known for his presentations entitled "60 minutes for Jesus," each talk is geared for all in a family household with no exceptions.

Option Opportunity
for the
Synod

In the Synod on Synodality, Pope Francis invites all the baptized to share their experiences, hopes, and dreams for the Church. An online synodal listening option is available through May 31st for anyone unable to attend an in-person listening session in the Archdiocese of Louisville.

Please share your reflections on four Synod reflection questions at www.archlou.org/synod-2022-online-listening. All responses are anonymous and will be integrated with Synod feedback received through in-person consultations around the Archdiocese.

will be celebrated by Archbishop Shelton Fabre on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 11 am, at the Cathedral of the Assumption. The people of the Archdiocese of Louisville are welcome and encouraged to attend this joyful celebration. For more information, contact the Vocation Office at 502-471-2121.
 
There will also be a Holy Hour offered in preparation for this ordination on Friday, May 20th from 6-7 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3938 Poplar Level Rd, Louisville, KY. All are welcome to join us as we pray for and with Deacon Dustin the evening before he is to be ordained.

Young Catholic Professionals Executive Speaker Event
On Tuesday, May 17 at 7 pm, Young Catholics (ages 21-40) of all professions are invited to join us at The Overlook at St. Thomas (6800 Steeprun Road, Louisville, 40241) for YCP Louisville's May Executive Speaker Series featuring WKU professor Dr. Gary Houchens. Dr. Houchens will share his unique experiences in the academic and political realms. As the school year draws to a close, Dr. Houchens' time working at all levels of the school system are sure to highlight the continuing importance and immense value of Catholic education.
