A Message From Mrs. Hytjan
Dear Families,
How can it be that we only have 12 days of school left to make a difference? Again, I thank you for all the support, patience, flexibility and love you have demonstrated as we navigated the ambiguity this year brought for us. I can honestly say (in my 28 years of being a principal) this year is the most unique one I have experienced. All of us, educators and family members, leaned into the past year with hope and understanding. I am grateful that life is getting to be somewhat ‘back to normal’…and yet, I know that it may never get back to the way it was pre-pandemic. I am hoping that we take a few things we learned during the past year and apply them to the future.
As we wrap up the last two weeks of school, know your partnership is greatly valued and appreciated. While we are not able to have our families join us for our ‘end of the school year events’, we will be celebrating you while we celebrate with our students.
With Gratitude,
Connie Hytjan
Forest Hills Elementary Principal
