Outdoor Fire Safety Month - Preventing Injuries and Wildfires

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency's monthly preparedness theme for May is Outdoor Fire Safety. Whether hosting a school trip this summer or just wanting to share information with students, Ready.gov has a variety of wildfire safety resources including a social media toolkit, wildfire playbook, and other valuable resources. The Illinois School and Campus Safety Program, in collaboration with the National Center for Biomedical Research and Training at Louisiana State University, is pleased to announce a session of the "Campus Emergencies Prevention, Response and Recovery" course will be held June 24-25, 2019 in Rockford, IL.
