Hi Friends!

This Sunday is our last Sunday of formation and Sunday Night Live (SNL) for the formation year! As I reflect on this year, I am struck by how thankful I am for each and every one of our youth. They bring so much to the table--indescribable joy, deep thought and reflection, and so much laughter and fun. My hope for this summer and the year to come is to continue building up this community and the bonds of friendship within it!

This Sunday during the 9am service is our Rite 13 Service for our 7th graders. Please make it a priority to attend this service and support our 7th graders during this special ceremony!

A few reminders for the week ahead:

  • Our final Sunday morning formation will meet in Kennedy Courtyard where we will enjoy ice cream, outdoor games, and will honor our amazing teachers from this year!
  • Our Final SNL will be at The Frilingos home! Please sign-up below to bring a side or dessert to share.
  • We need all acolytes and youth readers to sign-up for the summer calendar! You can find those sign-ups below in the Acolyte Corner with details.
  • Please sign-up as soon as possible for the Rafting Adventure Day and the Middle School Beach Retreat! We need the final registration numbers in to properly plan transportation.

Those are my reminders for the week! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and I can't wait to see you all on Sunday!

Peace,

Hope

PARENT CORNER

Formation Teachers Needed

for the 2023-2024 Year!

The statistic we always hear is that is takes at least 5 meaningful relationships with adults at church for youth to want to stay involved in church beyond high school. Are you ready to become one of those adults in the life of our youth?

We are looking for formation teachers, specifically in our high school room, for the 2023-2024 year! Beginning in September, you would be committing to spending Sunday mornings teaching our youth (curriculum is provided) and building meaningful relationships with them throughout the formation year.

If you are interested, please reach out to Hope and we can chat more!

ACOLYTE CORNER

Summer Acolytes and Readers

Sign-Up Now!

It's officially time to sign-up for summer acolyte and reader slots! Like last summer, our acolyte schedule will be "schedule yourself" style so you can choose Sundays when you are in town. This puts the ownership on you, so please try and schedule yourself at least 2-3 times (but more if you can!) This ensures that our Sunday service runs smoothly and always has acolytes present. Reminder—we only have one service on Sunday mornings in the summer so your commitment would be during the 10am service.

Please look over your summer calendar and sign-up below to acolyte and read when you are available!
