BUILDING OUR FUTURE!

Thank you so much to all of the businesses, and volunteers, who helped to orchestrate in our first ever In-Demand Career Exploration Experience this week!

Every 8th grade student at Kenwood Trail Middle School participated in three interactive career activities, based on a career exploration inventory and survey they took prior to the event.

Today, they will be doing part 3 of the experience - talking about the courses in high school that relate to the activities and careers they learned about.

A very special thank you to the teachers, and Cindy Nolan (Career Pathways Coordinator) at Lakeville Area Schools for partnering on this activity.

AND - to our two Lakeville South High School Capstone students – Ellie Taxdahl and Brandon Witter – for helping to plan and execute the entire experience!

This is all part of our Lakeville Works workforce development priority - we are creating awareness of the in-demand careers in our community.
