Pastors Word of the Week

Church Family,

This week we reach the one-month point since I became your pastor. Thank you for your patience while I gain my footing and evaluate where we are and where we need to go. Thank you for your kindness in ministering to me while I am here without Kristy and as I adjust to a new location. Thank you for your encouragement through attendance, prayer, and words of appreciation. Most of all, thank you for loving our Lord, each other, and the community around us!

I wanted to point out something that I have been doing the past couple of weeks that you may have overlooked. On the reverse side of the sermon outline insert, I write up a little story/devotional that is meant to kind of set the tone of the message and help you get to know me a little more. It’s nothing life changing or significant, and if you don’t want to read it, it won’t hurt my feelings. I simply know that over the years some have enjoyed those stories and if you are the type that does, I wanted to make certain you knew they were there.

Please continue to pray for our church and invite people you encounter. A new pastor is often a good excuse to reissue old invitations or to introduce new ones. It’s vital that we all participate in the outreach of our church if we want to see it fulfilling our goal of reaching our community for Christ.

I love you all!

Pastor Tim
