Administrative Information
Last Kaffeeklatsch of the Year is Tomorrow, May 3 with Rep. Mary Kunesh-Podein (DFL) District: 41B

Attend the last Morgenkreis of the year and then come to the front lobby to meet Rep. Mary Kunesh-Podein. Rep. Kunesh-Podein is Vice Chair of the Minnesota House Education Policy Committee and was visited by Ted Anderson and parent Sue Burke-Westacott during the Charter School Lobby Day at the Capitol in March. Ted and Sue discussed the charter school funding and other issues with her. We are thrilled that she accepted our invitation to attend our last Kaffeeklatsch of the year. We are excited to showcase our great school to her as an example of a successful and thriving public charter school. This is a great opportunity for all parents to meet a member of the Education Policy Committee and make your voices heard regarding school funding inequity and other issues concerning charter schools.  Thanks to the PTO for hosting this last Kaffeeklatsch of the year.
Family Fundraiser at Urban Forage Winery and Cider Sunday, May 5, 6-9 pm

Join us at Urban Forage (3016 East Lake Street, Minneapolis) for a tasty evening of cider and German treats. TCGIS parents Jeff and Gita Zeitler have graciously offered their venue for this fundraiser and all proceeds from cider sales will benefit the school. Parent Colin Kreuziger will provide acoustic guitar music. Authentic German cake from  Rhineland Cake and Wine Company will be for sale as well as  Aki's pretzels. Bring the kids, and also bring your friends and neighbors. The more, the merrier! Help us support the Zeitlers and TCGIS! Please don't drink and drive.
