We need your support to help
Temecula's Trails are important! Please sign and share the attached petition to show your support of efforts to gain approval of a SAFE, CONNECTED Trails Network. Horse owners, as well as those who love horses and support equestrians, represent a major segment of the landowning and voting population of the Temecula Valley. Safe trails are essential to exercise the horses and preserve the equestrian lifestyle for which our beautiful County has a global reputation.
By signing this petition you are joining us in asking the Riverside County Parks District and Board of Directors to please facilitate the approval of a SAFE Trails System AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Thank you for your support and please share this petition with others who care about our trails.

Congratulations to all of the Green Acres Ranch riders who participated in the Temecula Valley Arabian Community Show. All of our riders finished in the ribbons! We are so proud of all of you and a big thank you for supporting the show.
Special Thanks to all Green Acres Staff Members for all of their hard work in preparing the horses days before the show. Thanks to Chris Bullard and Brigette Garrett for buns well done, all the girls looked great! Leslie Smith was an outstanding announcer, Jim Welch did a great job of taking entries, opening gates and anything else he could help with. Jackson Welch was a first time Ring Steward and is now a pro. Camille Welch and Courtney Baker manned the in gate and got everyone into the ring in a timely manner. Joan Darrin was there to hand out the ribbons and awards. Our Champion of the Show Ring and Lesson Barn, Mr. Fips, was honored at the show with cake and a special tribute from Margaret Rich for his 30th birthday, April 8th. We also celebrated Margaret Rich's birthday as well. Margaret has put her heart and soul into Green Acres Ranch, the Arabian horse community as well as the equestrian community of the Temecula Valley. Thank you Margaret for making these shows possible!
We would also like to give a big thank you to Michelle Mason and Bailey Lent for taking some wonderful photographs of our show. THANK YOU BAILEY and MICHELLE! You can find show photo's on our Facebook page or you can go directly to their websites using the links below.

SALT BLOCKS
If you do not already have a salt block in your horse's stall...now is the time.
"Horses do require about 1-2 ounces of salt per day to help meet their requirement for sodium and chloride. This requirement can increase to 4-6 ounces of salt per day in hot climates or under exercise where losses in sweat increase greatly. Inadequate salt in the diet can result in abnormal eating behavior such as licking or chewing objects which have salt on them (fork handles etc.) or licking/eating dirt. Water intake may also decrease, increasing the risk of impaction colic. In more extreme cases, horses will stop eating and may experience muscle incoordination." |

ATTENTION GA BOARDERS AND CLIENTS
This is a reminder:
1.
Leave your dogs at home when
visiting Green Acres. It has been a long standing rule here at GA that only resident dogs may be allowed on the premises. This rule is for your dogs safety as well as the safety of fellow boarders, clients, and horses.
2. While here on the ranch, please park your vehicles in the parking lot.
Please do not park any vehicles at your horses stall or barn.
If you are delivering feed or heavy items, drop them off and then return your vehicle to the parking lot.
And don't forget, please observe our speed limits and always yield to horses.
Thank you for your help to keep Green Acres
a
safe place for everyone to enjoy!
