Sometimes we feel so weighed down by life that we change focus from the large tasks as all the smaller frustrations pile up, and we begin to lose our grip on any sort of peace.

This painting is called Riptide as a reminder of how easily the swirling currents of burdens, hindrances and life's limitations can reel us into the undertow of bleakness. However, the stretching shades of burgundy and purple symbolize strength of character and meditation giving us an image of hope and revival.
