Speaker on workforce development

I'm looking for a speaker on workforce development. Attracting, retaining and growing your team and employees for success. Open to any suggestions for a good speaker you have hired or seen in this area. Also have a preference with a speaker who can relate or address our members who are typically in the small business, blue collar worker trades such as exterior services/landscaping, construction, skilled trades, etc.. However, any speaker that can address small business owners and managers and key points and advice on workforce development would be appreciated.

Multi-State fundraising registration
Looking for solutions of how other national associations are managing the registration process for multiple states in order to conduct fundraising and professional fundraiser status as well.

Young professionals luncheon
I'm interested in learning more about how different associations manage local member units such as chapters or sections. Does anyone have a fresh new model they'd like to share? Or something that is tried and true but working really well? What isn't working that we can learn from?

Member365
Does anyone use Member365? If so, would you be willing to contact me? We are thinking of switching our platform

Conflict resolution speaker
We are hosting a Leaders Day in August 2017 and I am looking for a speaker to talk on conflict resolution within our organization. We have multiple volunteers that help our league in each county throughout Wisconsin. There are some that are struggling with how to deal with the push back once they make a decision so we thought a speaker at our next event might be advantageous. If anyone comes to mind please share their contact information.

Microsoft Office
I'm looking for suggestions for presenters/trainers for Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint - for an upcoming event in the Madison area.

Professional Development

AMS Fest

Mett elbow-to-elbow with other association executives, AMS consultants and AMS vendors, all who want to engage in discussions around nothing but AMS. You'll hear talks related to the future of AMS, where AMS fits in our technology solar system, what's trending, what's not working and what is, what's innovative, should associations or technology vendors be the guiding force in development, what new systems are out there, CRM vs AMS, and the list goes on!

WSAE staff will be there, and we hope to see you there, too. Check it out!

Special discounted rate for WSAE members: $150
Enter "$150" on the secure online payment form after you've completed your online registration.

Did you see this in the Spring issue of VantagePoint?

Online education program success of Credit Union Executives Society (CUES)
"People tend to think of online learning as asynchronous courses for frontline staff, often taken to check compliance boxes. But we chose a platform that allows us to teach topics with softer edges than compliance, things like leadership and strategy that are best taught in a forum format that allows for discourse and discussion. Our platform allows participants to see and interact with the instructor, and includes tools to help facilitate and focus discussion. It also uses virtual breakout rooms with conference call capabilities, so attendees can talk with each other, not over texts or instant messenger, but with real conversations, like they would have in the classroom. Technology wasn't the goal; the goal was to reflect the live learning experience that CUES is well known for in the credit union system."

Read more about CUE's online education program in WSAE's VantagePoint archives.

Call for authors
Have you experienced an association success you would be willing to share with your WSAE colleagues by authoring an article for VantagePoint ? Or perhaps a fail, that the rest of us could learn from? We would love to hear any article ideas that you have! Plus, you can earn CAE credits toward your certification renewal. Please contact Kristin McGuine for more information.
