Karen Glanz appointed to National Health Advisory Council

PRC Director Karen Glanz was appointed to the Advisory Council for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute by former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Sylvia Burwell. The Council advises the Health and Human Services Secretary, the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Director of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.

Seminar on Food Access and Obesity Prevention

The  seminar , titled "Accelerating Policies & Research on Food Access, Diet, and Obesity Prevention" was a day-long symposium that brought together public health researchers to discuss today's food environment and focused on future directions for the topic.

Students Pitch Ideas for Public Health Issues
