All week long, we will be posting some of the most recent economic development milestones and achievements celebrating South Central Kentucky's economic development success!
Cities nationwide are celebrating economic development by showcasing job and career development programs that enhance local and regional economic impact on communities.

Fundamental Skills for Manufacturing

Class begins May 24
|
FSM is a 24-hour course designed to equip new hires, underemployed, unemployed and incumbent workers with the necessary skills to be successful in manufacturing-related positions.
The NCRC is included in the FSM curriculum. Upon course completion, students sit for
the NCRC assessment
Meeting Dates & Times:
- May 24 - 3pm to 7pm
- May 25 - 8am to 4:30pm
- May 26 - 8am to 4:30pm
- NCRC Assessment Date: May 29 at the Kentucky Career Center

Employers Needed for Job Fair Event

The Housing Authority of Bowling Green is hosting a job fair event on June 2nd at their Learning Center (247 Double Springs Road). The event will be open to the public. Interview rooms will be available to conduct interviews on-site.

2017 Automotive Convention - Hopkinsville, KY

South Central Kentucky Economic Development:
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has announced three economic development projects totaling $86.73 million in capital investment and 283 new jobs.
Bowling Green was recently ranked second in Site Selection magazine's list of high-performing metros among communities with populations less than 200,000 based on total economic development projects for 2016.
