Sean Gaskell - Live Performance
May 1st - 6:30 p.m.
Music from West Africa and Beyond
Sean Gaskell features traditional songs on the Kora, a 21 string harp that he learned how to play throughout the course of multiple visits to its homeland in Gambia, West Africa. Gaskell has studied extensively under the instruction of Malamini Jobarteh and Moriba Kuyateh, both of Brikama, Gambia. He has been featured at a number of music festivals in the US, Gambia, and Senegal.
Humblebee Academy-
Now Available
An online kindergarten prep program designed for children ages 3 to 6 is now available through the library website, www.findlaylibrary.org. Miss Humblebee's Academy employs friendly cartoon characters to guide learning activities, making it an easy-to-use, kindergarten-readiness solution.
Launchpads Learning Tablets
Launchpad is a secure, pre-loaded tablet with learning activities based on grade level. Check one out for 7 days with your library card. The tablets are designed for ages 3-5, 5-7, and 8-10.
