With Heavy Hearts
On Wednesday, April 18th, Flower Angels graciously received the flower arrangements from Sgt. Sean Gannon's funeral. Words cannot express the gratitude our organization has for the love, thought, and heart they represented. The Cape has taken this terrible tragedy into bittersweet arms, and turned it into a beautiful outpouring of support for the dedicated police officers, the first responders, and the many family and friends of Sergeant Gannon. We were truly thankful, blessed, and honored to have been asked to be a part of this generous gesture.

Labor of Love

Love permeated the air at the Flower Angels workshop on Thursday, April 19th, as 40 of our “Angels” deconstructed and arranged the magnificent bouquets of love made with flowers donated from Sgt. Gannon’s wife and family. When the YPD pulled up with three giant truck loads of flowers that were left on Sgt. Gannon’s K9 police car, we were moved to tears for this special honor. Beautiful bouquets were delivered to the 18 police stations on the Cape and to many nursing homes in memory of Sgt. Gannon. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife and family and to the wonderful policeman who protect and serve us every day.

Pictured below is one of the bouquets created by our volunteers in memory of Sgt. Gannon.
