Moving Day
This spring, all four of my married children are moving. Moving trucks, volunteer helpers, misplaced items, new home, new neighbors, new routines and more. In 2007, the Census Bureau found that a typical American will move 11.7 times in their lives! Wow.
It seems that the only thing constant in life is change. And while most people resist change, it’s just not possible to do so. Everything ends eventually, but that also means it’s a new start. So, make sure you don’t look back. The past is over. Embrace your new future and look forward to the wonderful things yet to come!

For all who are going through change, remember, Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." (Matt. 11:28) Spend time with God every day, even if you are not moving.
Engaging the Unchurched

Sharing our faith can sometimes be a daunting experience. How can we be better prepared? Get some helpful and encouraging ideas from Oscar Mendez and Brent Strawsburg. Oscar comes from Hillsong OC, and will share the inside story of their culture of welcoming new people with such effectiveness. Brent is an expert in Apologetics and knows that in our day and age, defending our faith and sharing our faith go hand in hand. This workshop will give practical tools to all in attendance on how to navigate conversations with the gospel in mind.

Robert Bishop Update
Redemption Hill Lead Pastor
Robert was admitted to the hospital on Friday, April 20 with some serious concerns. Redemption Hill's Elders came and prayed for him Saturday night, and many churches and pastors prayed for him on Sunday. His wife, Davette, wrote on Sunday afternoon, "This is amazing. We just saw the neurologist and he expects Robert will go home tomorrow." He is doing well and seems to have recovered abundantly. Thanks for your prayers!
