Here are some of the things that have been happening and a couple of things on the horizon. We thank you for being a part of our family, and hope you enjoy the pictures and videos of our activities.

Some good things are happening because we have your support. You are the necessary part of creating change. Watch for more updates on new events and partnerships. Also, we now have a blog on our website where you can keep abreast of what is happening. Check it out!
Wonderful Day!

A big thank you to Memorial for inviting us and our volunteers for making it happen!

Many individuals with disabilities were given the opportunity to escape into the world of SCUBA diving for a little while at this event. Fun was had by all.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING-April 20
Buddy Disability Training
Thank you to NATIONAL PARKS CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION (NPCA) for sponsoring two volunteers in this last month's training and AQUANAUTS SCUBA ACADEMY for sponsoring one volunteer. Volunteers are our lifeblood. We need well-trained volunteers to make our programs happen.

Next Buddy Disability Training is June 15-17, 2018.

PARK ADVOCACY WORKSHOP
April 15, 2018
It was our pleasure to host an advocacy workshop for our sponsor, National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). They are working hard to help restore and preserve our nations parks. Thank you, Jackie and Caroline for setting aside a day to share with us the threats facing our parks and how we can help.

We also want to thank Mission United for allowing us use of their conference room. If you are a veteran, and you are struggling with something in your life contact Mission United. There is help.

Those that missed the workshop, please check NPCA's website, www.npca.org to see how you can make a difference.
Thank you, again, to NPCA for arranging for a documentary crew to join us on a Maritime Heritage Dive. Check out the video! Some great information from Nobel Prize winner, E.O.Wilson and then you will see our group around minute 11. Please take a moment and see what we do!
