Pedal Patter May 2018
by Bob Bernstein

I hope that this finds you all enjoying the pleasures of your wheeled, human powered conveyances regardless of the number of wheels; regardless whether you are leaning forward, sitting upright, or sitting back; regardless of whether you are wearing spandex or a tee shirt and jeans.

Well, maybe, just maybe, Spring has arrived. I got out on my favorite bike today (the yellow Litespeed). It was a hard ride, not because of the roads (my usual training ride) or the wind (hardly any), or the weather (beautiful). It was a hard ride because I do not have many miles in my legs....

Did you know the after-work rides have started? Check them out!

Only a few days left to REGISTER for the annual Nokesville Picnic in the Park Ride on Sunday May 20th. This classic ride is in its 21st year! Four routes will explore the gently rolling Virginia country-side. NEW this year is the addition of a “casual” 12 mile route. Each route (12/30/42/53) is covered by our experience Ride Leads (Levels A through D).

The ride finishes with our club picnic at the Nokesville Community Park. This free event is open to all club members and their family/friends! Checkout the Ride Schedule for more information.
