Request For Photos | Lawn Alternatives HGIC is seeking photos that illustrate successful examples of  reducing lawn  and adding more diversity to the landscape. Photos demonstrating your lawn reduction process (e.g. before, during, and after) are especially desired. The photos will be collected and used on the UME HGIC & UME MG websites as well as for social media. Lawn is challenging to grow in Maryland  and doesn't work for all situations. Let's inspire Marylanders with examples of lawn alternatives that work for our region. Please email photos along with a brief description of your lawn alternative success story to statemg@umd.edu .
