Continuing the EXCELLENCE

Mike ConleyLawrence North Class of 2006 , became the Memphis Grizzlies All-Time leading scorer this past March. He is also the Grizzlies all-time leader in assists, steals, games played, and has twice been voted by fellow NBA players as the NBA Sportsman of the Year.  We are so proud of Mike and all his accomplishments and proudly boast, once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. Congratulations Mike.

Tre Roberson, Lawrence Central Class of 2011, currently playing for the Calgary Stampeders as a cornerback, was part of the 2018 Grey Cup Championship team. This championship  game for the Canadian Football League (CFL) was pretty special  for Lawrence Central. On the opposing team, the Ottawa Redblacks, was Kevin Brown , Lawrence Central Class 2012 . How cool is that to have 2 LC alumni competing in the CFL Championship game? We are so proud to watch the success of our alumni and can't wait to watch them again next season.
Morgan Meixner, Lawrence North Class of 2015, had a fabulous senior year as a member of the Purdue Women's Diving team. Morgan was an NCAA Championship Qualifier in the 1-Meter and the 3-Meter. She also was named an Academic All-Big Ten. Wow, what a way to end your college career. Congratulations Morgan!

Kayla Smith, Lawrence Central Class of 2015, is a member of the University of Georgia Track & Field team and returned to competition this year after foot surgery. Wow, what a return it has been. Kayla is an outdoor pole vault qualifier for the NCAA Championships being held in Austin, Texas, June 5th thru 8th. Good luck Kayla. Your Bears family will be cheering for you!  Click here to see Kayla in action.

Ae'Rianna Harris, Lawrence North Class of 2016, just completed her junior year as a member of the Purdue Women's Basketball team. For a second year in a row, Ae'Rianna was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and is an NCAA All-American. Also, Ae'Rianna is the 34th 1,000-point scorer in the program's history and only the 17th to hit the mark during her junior season. Congratulations Ae'Rianna. We are so proud of you! Congratulations Retirees
We Will Miss YOU!

A combined 688 years of service to MSDLT was recognized at the 2019 retirement dinner on May 16th. These dedicated employees represent the EXCELLENCE of MSDLT, and their impact on our students will forever be remembered. LTSF is so grateful for their kindness and generosity and looks forward to staying connected. Check out the list of this year's retirees to see if anyone who inspired you has retired.

May 20th was a very special MSD of Lawrence Township School Board meeting. Thank you to Dr. Smith and the Board for recognizing the founding members of LTSF. In addition to recognizing this wonderful group of visionaries, a permanent plaque is now on display at LECC that recognizes all LTSF board members. How lucky to be part of a district that puts so much value in the work of the Foundation.

The MSD of Lawrence Township and the Lawrence Township School Foundation want to know what is happening with you! Maybe you or a fellow alum has recently been recognized for accomplishments. Maybe you recently got engaged, married, or had a baby. Whatever the news, we want to celebrate with you.

Click here to make a formal submission or simply email Cori Korn, LTSF Executive Director.  Thanks for making us proud!
