Jamie Cheshire Reflects on 25 Years with Cheshire

Jamie's first business card at Age 17 |
When asked about some of his favorite early memories of being part of the Cheshire team, Jamie Cheshire's first recollection was of accompanying his Dad to the Disney Yacht Club Resort for a show at age 13 where, during his school break, he got to hang out in the hotel. The second memory that came to mind was of the team driving a NASCAR out of a hotel ballroom in order to strike the equipment for the event. It's no wonder he was excited to be part of
the family business!
He began working with Cheshire Audio Visual as a gaffer, taping down the electrical power cords to all the equipment, and helping to load the shows in and out. He came to understand, at an early age, his father's philosophy that the client is the most important part of any show, and you do whatever is needed to make sure the event is executed flawlessly.

beMatrix - The Next Generation of Gorgeous Visuals
We're excited to announce that earlier this month, we invested in some new and revolutionary equipment that will help us expand our capabilities of what is visually possible! Photos from the load in and initial testing of the new equipment are shown at right. We are now the only
preferred partner in NYS, outside of Long Island!
Our new beMatrix seamless, modular LEDskin® system offers clean lines and endless configurations for eye popping visuals and a truly stunning way to feature graphics, videos and messaging.
Because they're versatile and easily customized, the configurations are as
limitless as your imagination!
Watch upcoming issues of the Cheshire AV-ator to see this system in action, or call us to discuss how we can incorporate them into your next show!

Partnering with Mirror Show Management
Within the Aveeno exhibit area, we created a 360° Skin Microbiome "walk through" experience, using seven Optoma 4000 Lumen UST Laser Projectors and
Dataton Watchout Multi-Display Software.
At right, you'll see photos from the steps Tim Peterson took to develop that experience, by incorporating blended projection with "
Bug" Animation we custom created for this show.
Check out the virtual walk through of the final Microbiome display in the video at the bottom of the newsletter.

Partnering with VRS Meetings & Events
To create the staging used in the General Session, we utilized two
10.5' x 18.5', and one
10' x 30' AV Stumpfl Screens with Christie Roadster 14k Projectors. We also incorporated a Custom Light Cube on stage and two at the entrance of the General Session.
Dataton Watchout Multi-Display Software ran all the the screens with custom graphics we designed for the show.

Brittany Brandt Puts Her Impeccable Brand of Hospitality on The Penthouse
B
rittany Brandt comes from a long tradition of hospitality. Her grandparents ran a restaurant in Germany, and her mother owned a catering company where she grew up in Atlanta, so going into the field of hospitality was a natural choice for Brittany.
"Except when I drove an electric cart at the Atlanta airport one summer, and worked for two weeks at Macy's, my whole life has been in hospitality," she laughs.
"I went to culinary school, after which I became a chef. I then started working the front end of the house, got into catering sales, and ultimately became an event planner. I've been in events for over 15 years now, and my breadth of experience has definitely helped me become a stronger planner."
