Family Movie Nigh t

Mary Poppins Returns
Friday, May 17 at 7 p.m.

Rated PG

Decades after her original visit, the magical nanny returns to help the Banks siblings and Michael's children through a difficult time in their lives.

One adult must remain at the library with each family group for the duration of the program. The library is not open for other services.
Story Times
Preschool Story Time
Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Children ages 3-7 are invited to drop-in for an interactive themed story time with picture books, music and movement followed by a craft.

No registration required.
Registration for the May / June session of  Under Twos and Tremendous Twos  Story Times began  Monday, April 29 . Call the Children's Department at 978-929-6655, option 4, for more information.
Summer Volunteers
Grades 6-8

If you are entering grades 6 through 8 in September 2019, you can volunteer this summer.

Work FIVE hours between June 24 and August 17 (one hour at a time, one hour per week).

In order to volunteer, you MUST attend one Orientation Meeting. Orientation Meetings are at the following dates:
  • Wednesday, May 22, 7 to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 25, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 30, 4 to 5 p.m.
Registration begins June 3rd.

Young readers can make a 15 minute appointment to read to Molly. Molly has gone to school to be a therapy dog, so she is a perfect listener.

Lego Club

2:30 to 4 p.m. 

Youngsters ages 4 and up are invited to sharpen their Lego skills. Bring your imagination--the library has the Legos! No sign-up needed. 
Family Games
Thursday, May 16
2:30 to 4 p.m.

The library's collection of games, including Monopoly, puzzles, card games, checkers, chess, and more, is at the disposal of library users ages 6 to 12 and their families. New games to the collection are Candy Land, Hoot Owl Hoot, and Race to the Treasure.
