The City will celebrate it’s 60th year of incorporation in May!
On May 22, 1959 the City incorporated and only after a brief, rocky start has progressed in many ways over the last century. Once known as the town of Zebra, Osage Beach came to be with the building of Bagnell Dam in 1929 and is still considered the ‘Heart of the Lake of the Ozarks’! We have extended our boundaries, our services, and tourism has grown exponentially! Did you know that the Lake of the Ozarks was voted the Best Recreational Lake by USA Today Readers just a few short years ago?
On Wednesday, May 22, 2019, please join us at City Hall for a celebration social from 4:30 PM – 7 PM! We will be happy to give you a tour of City Hall, come by and converse with our elected officials and staff along with some refreshments.
