StandUp for Kids Is Making News

  Parkview High School  had fourteen mentor matches this school year. 11 Alive did a story on one of our outstanding students at PHS, but everyone of our kids has a story that is news worthy. Their determination to look past where they are now and onto the future is inspiring. Please join us in congratulating all 40 of our seniors and check out the link below for Kaustov’s story.

Scholarship Winners
The dropout rate for “at risk’ and homeless students is a growing problem. We encourage and support students to pursue education after high school. This year StandUp For Kids Atlanta will be presenting thirteen scholarships to students from 8 high schools totaling over $5,200. Through education, students can break the cycle of homelessness, and create a brighter and more rewarding future for themselves and their families.
Hall County
The Hall County Program had SEVEN graduates this May and $1,500 in scholarship were awarded. Hats off to the grads, students, mentors and leadership in Hall County .

Big thank you from Stand Up!
Woo hoo! Our Inaugural “Get Down and Tee Off for Stand Up” was a huge success! We had so many wonderful volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors come out to support us. AND we raised over $12,000! How wonderful is that?!
Internships for Students



While attending high school Daisy has been working at Hawkins Family Dental with Dr. Lee Hawkins, in a made to fit her schedule internship. Thank you Dr. Hawkins for making a place for Daisy to learn more about what she wants to do after high school! 
Hapeville Exchange
The Hapeville Exchange 5K Run/Walk was a huge success! We are honored to have the Hapeville Exchange as a community partner. In addition to receiving proceeds from the 5K, the Exchange provides scholarships to homeless/at risk students in the South Fulton area. Thank you to Bill Bailey who included us in the 5K event and the rest of the Hapeville Exchange for their ongoing support!
