A Message from the Director

Dear EPICentre's supporters,
First of all, I would like to extend my greeting to you, for the first time, as the Director of EPICentre. I am honoured to have received the baton from Dr. Francine Schlosser to continue EPICentre's mission in cultivating entrepreneurship and accelerating new startups. A very sincere thanks to Dr. Schlosser for leading EPICentre to such great heights in the past three years. Our team aims to continue this tradition.
The 2019 RBC EPIC Founders Program has just started this month. We have nine promising ventures participating in the program this year. We will be publishing their individual story every week. Make sure you follow our social media posts and website to learn more about the founders and their business ideas.
With the conclusion of the 2018/19 fiscal year, we would like to share with you our 2018/19 EPIC Impact Report. Last year, EPICentre delivered 131 programs and events with 4,481 participants. Membership for our makerspace, the Windsor Mold Group EPIC Makers' Base has now grown to 105 members, a 55% increase from the previous year. 126 students and graduates have also taken advantage of our programs and facilities to support and enhance their entrepreneurial venture and business startup experience. These are just a few highlights of the great work the team at EPICentre did last year to fulfill our missions of providing experiential entrepreneurial learning opportunities to students and providing tools and resources to entrepreneurs to launch and grow their business ventures. Please download the full 2018/19 EPIC Impact Report here for details.
We look forward to engaging with you the coming year. If you have any suggestion or feedback for our programs and services, please feel free to reach out to me at wteoh@uwindsor.ca.
Thank you for your support!
