Bandhu Dunham Lecture Tonight, Friday May 3rd
Join us for a Visiting Artist Lecture from pioneering torchworking artist Bandhu Dunham Friday night from 6-7:30. Enjoy a presentation by the artist, refreshments, and a chance to mingle with other glass art enthusiasts.

Our next big event is coming up soon, and the featured artists from Sedona, Phoenix, and Tucson have given us clues to what they plan to demonstration on Saturday, May 18th.

Stop by the gallery to see work from the artists below starting Tuesday May 7th in our new exhibit. You can learn more about the artists and see examples of their work here.

Each artist will have two hours to make a glassblown piece based on a theme/period in art history.

New Vitrigraph Kiln
Thank you to our awesome Warm Shop students who donated to secure a new Vitrigraph kiln for the studio!

Vitrigraph is a special hot glass technique that involves dripping and pulling hot glass through a hole in the floor of the kiln.

We are honored to be one of The West's new grant recipients this year! Funds will go to support our Youth Education Program and help us reach more students in their classrooms. (Transportation is often a barrier to kids coming to visit us at Sonoran Glass School.)

Youth Summer Program | Camp Fuego
Sonoran Glass School's Youth Summer Camp , known as CAMP FUEGO, takes place in the first two weeks of June for ages 12 to 17. Work in all of our studios and make beautiful glass art projects using furnace glassblowing, torchworking, and kiln-firing. Students will also take a chaperoned, educational field trip to the Tucson Museum of Art, the Flandrau Planetarium and Science Center, and the University of Arizona Scientific Glassblowing Lab to learn the science behind the art.

WEEK ONE: June 3rd-7th, 2019
Members: $350
Non-Members: $400
