Mission Statement At Bear and the Flower Farm we are devoted to providing superior and humanely outdoor raised pork products. All while revolutionizing the pork industry towards a globally conscious transformation, pig by pig.

OUR NEWEST FAMILY MEMBER

Meet our newest family member: Pepper! Pepper came to our home on April 20th and we are so happy to have her. No one is more excited to have a new sister than Luma. If Pepper lets out a whimper Luma is instantly there checking to make sure she is okay!

DR. JOHN CARR VISITS THE FARM

Dr. John Carr BVs., DPM., PhD., MRCVS. Dr. Carr is a sought after consultant in the international community. We were thrilled to host Dr. Carr here at the farm and get his input and recommended hog practices  for the farms future. Dr. Carr graduated from Liverpool in 1982. He then spent some time teaching pig medicine in the UK and USA. He is a senior lecturer at Murdoch University in Australia.

Well it was certainly a fun filled weekend! We are very happy and grateful to have worked with Chef Scott Hergott from  Sky Bistro  for the  Cochon555 Fairmont Banff Springs  and he won the competition!!!! Congrats to him and to us for providing the pig he used in every dish!  #teamwork

**includes all cutting and wrapping at the price above.  Please carefully read through the information below!   Price of $3.85 based on hanging weight per lb.  The average weight of animals are approx 200 lbs (So for example a 200 lb pig x $3.85/lb = $770.00)

Orders take 2 weeks to process All orders will be completed over the phone with Jessica so not to worry if you need help! We will make sure you get what you want 😊 $100.00 deposit is required via-etransfer. Sausage is $5.95 per pack extra or on a whole pig the trim can be made into sausage and this would be $3/lb extra We do a quarterly custom cutting and wrapping. The order can be paid by cash, cheque, e-transfer or credit card (3% extra)

THE BIG MEAT UP

The sixth annual 2019 Porkapalooza BBQ Festival  Takes place on Father’s Day weekend: Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. & on Sunday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. outside the Edmonton Expo Centre. This year, we are aiming to be the largest barbecue festival outside of the U.S. that means a target of 75 teams—an increase of 24 teams over last year. It will be a challenge, but we know there are plenty barbecue enthusiasts out there just waiting to finally step into competition mode.
