Homeowners management company

It's no secret that HOA management can be demanding and stressful at times, but also rewarding! In this month's newsletter we focus our attention on taking care of yourself and those you care about as well as giving back to the community. We hope you'll find as much joy and fulfillment as we do by helping others.
May Is Mental Health Awareness Month #WhyCare

Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. During May, join Team HMC in helping NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) raise awareness around mental health.

Each year, the movement grows stronger. Raising awareness on your own, as part of a small group or part of your community can make a difference. Taking action and raising awareness of mental health conditions can break down obstacles and improve the chance of recovery. Learn how you can make a difference in your community and for millions of Americans across the U.S.

The  WhyCare? campaign is an opportunity to share the importance of care in our relationships to others, in mental health treatment and services and in support and education to millions of people, families, caregivers and loved ones affected by mental illness. Demonstrating how and why we care brings more to awareness by showing our actions and connections to others. Care has the power to make a life-changing impact on those affected by mental health conditions.

Recovery Through Work & Community

After recently upgrading the office phone system, HMC took the opportunity to donate our previous phone system hardware to an incredibly inspirational local non-profit organization known as the Putnam Clubhouse. HMC Team members received a personal tour of this impressive facility in Concord and were amazed at the breadth of services offered by this group of dedicated and passionate individuals. Their motto is, "We believe each person with a mental illness can rebuild a meaningful and productive life."

More than 10,000 residents are hospitalized for a severe mental illness in Contra Costa County each year. Adults recovering from mental illness yearn to participate in society in meaningful and productive ways. That's why The Contra Costa Clubhouses, Inc. started Putnam Clubhouse in 2008.

TEAM HMC HELPS FIGHT HUNGER IN LOCAL COMMUNITY

Did you know that the Contra Costa Solano Food Bank serves 178,000 people (1 in 8) living in Contra Costa and Solano counties each month? Supporting your local food bank is one of the best ways to make a direct impact in your community.

Team HMC was proud to volunteer at the Contra Costa Solano Food Bank on the afternoon of Friday May 3rd. In addition to volunteering our time, and thanks to the generosity of a handful of our service partners, we were also able to provide considerable donations of food and money to this important community resource. Together we are helping the food bank fulfill their mission to end hunger, in partnership with our community and in service to our neighbors in need.

You too can support the food bank!
  • Get your tickets now for the upcoming Nourish Gala, a black tie optional event at Diablo Country Club on the evening of June 1st!
  • Nourish 365 is an ongoing campaign to fight hunger with a monthly giving program.
